These terms apply to the Guest Hotel Condition Report app (“the app”). By using the app, you agree to them.
Purpose
The app is provided free of charge to help convention Rooming Department volunteers record and follow up on hotel conditions reported by guests. It may be used only for that purpose.
Acceptable use
- Enter information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- Only enter a guest’s contact details with the guest’s permission.
- Do not submit false, abusive, or unrelated content, or try to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the app, including its settings page.
- Settings may be changed only by authorized Rooming Department administrators. Keep the admin password confidential.
Submitted reports
Submitted reports are saved for the Rooming Department and handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Submitting a report does not guarantee any particular outcome with the hotel.
Third-party services
The app relies on Google Drive for storage, the MyMemory service for translating Spanish text, and Vercel for hosting. Use of those services is also subject to their own terms.
Availability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. It may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued at any time. Always keep the downloaded PDF if you need your own copy of a report. Translations are automatic and may not be exact.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of the app are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from use of or inability to use the app.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
